17 Pound Lobster

Joesph Ali was a 27 year old man who works at a surf shop on the water in Huntington Beach, California. The end of his work shift was coming to an end so he decided he will go diving for his dinner and hopefully he will catch something good. He dove off the Huntington Beach Pier and ended up to be his most successful dive of his life. Ali dove 16 ft. to the bottom of the floor with a LED flashlight and there he noticed a 17 pound lobster. He said he found it in a crevice and under some rocks, once he found this big lobster he said it was a struggle to catch him. He finally got him after diving down there once more. This spiny lobster was a trophy and is searched for but only found occasionally. He is going to have a few great dinners.

Man Made Earthquake

The Monday night game between the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks had the ground rumbling. The cheers were so thunderous that the nearby seismographs registered the thundering crowd as a minor earthquake. The largest "earthquake" was when Michael Bennett recovered a fumble from Drew Brees and returned it for a touchdown. The cheering and foot-stamping had the seismographs record a magnitude earthquake between 1 and 2. This has happened in the Seahawks stadium before so they aren't new to the recording of a small magnitude earthquake, this is just the biggest earthquake that has happened.

Dead-Mouse Drop

In Guam 2,000 dead mice were parachuted down to the ground to supply food to the poisonous brown tree snakes. The U.S. Air force was the group behind this whole operation. Reportedly these dead mice were pumped full of acetaminophen. They put this in the rodents so that the snakes which are an invasive species will go to them and eat them. The ingredient that they pumped into the mouse will cause them to croak or die. The Air Force said that the other animals who may eat the dead rodent will have minimal risk. This is a 8 million dollar project that the United States invested in, and if this plan succeeds they will use this tactic in other places in the world.
