The Owl is Stolen

In Selah, Washington a person stole a rare owl out of the central Washington bird sanctuary. The bird that was stolen a 14-year old tawny owl and it was taken Friday from the Raptor House property. They figured out someone stole it, because on the cage of the owl the lock was taken off and took the leash off of the owl. The tawny owl is of great value on the black market and can range from $3,000 to $4,000. Hopefully this rare bird will be brought back to the sanctuary in one piece. They also hope that the person who stole this tawny owl won't come back for anymore birds.
